This set is very rare and is the actual set Jim Schleyer shows in the color pages of his book on Western Cap Guns. The set is pictured on the bottom right of page C-5 of Schleyer's book. The guns are cast iron Hubley Texans. I purchased this set from Jim about 15 years ago. The guns are in excellent shape as well as the holsters. No issues. The cuffs are very rare and are mint. The set has been open framed by Jim Quick of Colfax Custom Frames in Colfax N.C. Jim specializes in western art. You can see some of his work in the "Your Collections" section of this website.

For Sale: HOPPY SAVING CLUB PINS AND VERY RARE POSTCARD. These are the top two pins for the 50s Hopalong Cassidy savings club. The Straw Boss is near mint and the Foreman has a couple of light scratches. The post card is the real treasure. I can tell for a fact that it is very rare. In fifteen years, I've seen three. This one is the rarest I've seen as it is stamped to the young club member inviting him to a Hoppy Christmas party at the Paramount Theater in Amarillo, Texas. Most of the top Hoppy collectors don't have this card. This card alone books for $350.00 in the Hakes collectible guide. A rare Hoppy collectible shipped with insurance.
Price: $ 225.00

For Sale: CUSTOM NICHOLS MODEL 61 This gun is in excellent condition, and functions properly. The grips are excellent, the frame has no cracks, and the trigger, hammer and cylinder sequence perfectly. The gun has been professionally re-painted in the Daisy "44 Cal Cap & Ball" color scheme. Since Nichols produced the gun for Daisy, this Model 61 is as good a "clone" as you can obtain. The "silver" combination with dark blue is more rare than the "gold and dark blue", and that is why I chose it. I have additional pics, so please request them or any additional information you need. This is offered for sale on eBay also, and has 12 pictures at that site. The eBay price reflects their sales charge difference. Asking Price: $350.00/Best Offer

For Sale: FARGO EXPRESS PAIR IN TURQUOISE BEAUTY DOUBLE HOLSTER SET BY WESTERN CREATIONS. Our Most Exceptional Offering Ever!!!

I have only seen two Fargo Express pieces and these are them. It has been a joy to have them,, but it is time to pass the joy around. Both guns have been refurbished and one was totally repaired and replated by Frank McMath. They both work as you want with crisp action and cylinder rotation. One has a crack in the right grip at the top, but I have not replaced it, although we do include a nice set of reproduction grips from Herb Taylor (at no extra charge). They are nicely paired except that nothing can match Frank's replating work. They are presented in a beautiful turquoise and silver rendition double holster set from Chuck Layman's Western Creations. Chuck told me it was copied from a photo of a 1948 holster. It has more than 500 clinched rivets and they sparkle like stars. The striking spur set is included in this ensemble. It is our nicest holster and the only one worthy of these EXCEPTIONALLY rare guns. Sale price for insured delivery in the USA is $4,695.00 (plus $10 shipping). Intn'l shipping will be at cost with Insurance optional.
Price: $ 4695 plus $10 shipping
