Now we're really getting close up. You can see
the tin star badge on this grip. Sometimes Leslie-Henry used intertwining
horseshoes, but this one is simply a star. Rich is definitely good at
close-ups. Maverick was a TV series from 1957 to 1962 in which Jack Kelly portrayed Bart Maverick and James Garner was Bret Maverick. Though James Garner was in fewer episodes, he wound up being the bigger star and even played Maverick in the movie with Mel Gibson in 1994. I especially liked seeing Graham Greene as a smart Indian who was fooling a bunch of dumb white folks (with Maverick's help). It was hilarious. Graham Greene was in Dances with Wolves as Kicking Bird. Graham is really an Indian as a member of the Oneida Indian tribe of Canada. But I digress. Thanks to Rich Hall. |
