This is the very rare, chrome-plated
BAT MASTERSON Cap Gun Made in England by Lone Star for Carnell Mfg. Co. of
Brooklyn, NY. It is in NEAR MINT UNFIRED condition. It comes with full
wrap-around simulated Stag Grips much like the gun he used in the TV Series BAT
MASTERSON starring Gene Barry. The very popular TV Series ran for two years
from 1959 to 1961. The gun was made in England by Lone Star for The Carnell
Mfg. Company which marketed and put these guns in their CARNELL ROUND-UP
Holster Sets. These cap guns are close copies of the 9-1/2-inch Leslie-Henry
cap guns. The early cap guns from Lone Star were nickel plated. Later guns were
chrome plated and then flash chrome plated. This is one of five variations of
cap guns produced by Lone Star.
The
variations are marked BAT MASTERSON, MAVERICK, GRAY GHOST, BUNT-LINE, or
COWPOKE. The GRAY GHOST marked cap guns were only produced with nickel plating
and came with the gray plastic grips. The BAT MASTERSON, MAVERICK, BUNT-LINE,
& the COWPOKE came with nickel or chrome finishes. The GRAY GHOST and the
BAT MASTERSON are the hardest to find of all the variations. All of the
above-mentioned cap guns were made EXCLUSIVELY for Carnell.
This cap
gun is guaranteed to be all original. It functions as it should with a strong
snap to the hammer and stays closed when firing. There are no chips, cracks,

This is a RARE & Hard-To-Find
multiple gun set stock #672 by Mattel called The BUFFALO HUNTER SET. Mattel
produced several multi-gun sets during the late 1950's thru the mid 1960's.
This one is dated 1961 on the back of the box and is the 2nd variation box with
the open top with no lid. All Mattel sets with more than one gun are rare and
very desirable by Mattel Collectors and this one in my opinion is one of the
most desirable of all of the multiple gun sets produced by Mattel.
It comes
complete with the Shootin' Shell Fanner Revolver with rawhide belt, holster
& knife with sheath, WINCHESTER Shootin' Shell Rifle with the smaller
Shootin' Shell bullet pack affixed to the barrel and the original standing
target & Shootin' Shell bullet pack still factory stapled to the box
bottom. All contents are MINT and never removed from the box. Price: $895.00
