Rare Red FANNER 50 Marshal Single Holster Set by Mattel - UNFIRED This is a Mattel FANNER 50 Marshal single holster set in the Super Rare RED color. Around 1960 Mattel decided to market their very popular FANNER 50 Marshal holster sets to girls as well as boys. They were offered in four top-grain leather colors in addition to the regular natural color leather sets, The four colors are RED, WHITE, PINK, and BLUE. All of these colored sets are EXTREMELY RARE & HTF. I have never seen the WHITE set. Also, all of the colored sets came with a FANNER 50 cap gun with the 1st variation rotating cylinder. It is non-bullet loading and commonly referred to as the GRAPEFRUIT cylinder. All of the colored sets came with eighteen (18) of the rare 1st variation LARGE Mattel bullets in the belt. These rare bullets are 13/32" in diameter and 1-3/8" long. The later more commonly seen bullets are 3/8" in diameter and 1-3/16" long. The later bullets will be loose in this gun belt. The cap gun is in MINT UNFIRED condition. As stated earlier, it is the 1st variation non-bullet loading GRAPEFRUIT revolving cylinder variation and functions as it should with a strong snap to the hammer and rotates the cylinder and cap advance wheel with each pull of the trigger. There are no chips, cracks, breaks, or repairs to the grips or frame of the cap gun. The holster is in Excellent Plus/Near Mint condition and is made of top grain cowhide RED leather. As stated in the title it is the Marshal Single Holster variation and comes with a full load of eighteen (18) large original Mattel two-tone metal bullets and still retains its' RED leather leg tie-down strap. There are no rips, tears, missing stitches, or repairs to the holster.
