This is the VERY RARE &
Hard-To-Find Mattel GOLD-PLATED Official Detective SNUB-NOSE .38 Cap Pistol
with White Grips by Mattel. It is in NEAR MINT UNFIRED condition and comes
complete with all six (6) Mattel two-tone all metal play bullets. The cap gun
functions as it should rotating the cylinder with each pull of the trigger.
There are no chips, cracks, breaks, or repairs to the grips or frame of the cap
gun. This is a Shootin' Shell Cap Gun but was plugged at the factory as this
was the last of the Mattel Snub-Nose .38 cap guns to be manufactured and after
the discontinuance of the SHOOTIN' SHELL toy bullets. As stated earlier, it is
Gold Plated with White Grips. This is an EXTREMELY RARE and Hard-To-Find Mattel
Cap Gun. I have actually only had the opportunity to handle less than six of
these in the last 30+ years of collecting and selling cap guns. This is a great
addition for any Collector and a MUST HAVE for the Mattel Collector or Military

barrel WYATT EARP Cap Gun by Actoy in the bronze finish. This bronze finish
variation with the short barrel is Very Hard-To-Find. I have only seen a few of
these in the last thirty (30) years of collecting Cap Guns. This variation is
almost always found in the nickel-plated finish. It is in NEAR MINT UNFIRED
condition. It is very tight and solid with no DROOPING of the barrel when fired

This is the Shootin' Shell Fanner MIB
by Mattel - Stock #608. It comes complete with original Mattel draw-string
cloth bag containing all six (6) spring loaded shells and twelve (12) gray
tips. It also has the original instruction sheet. There is no wear or finish
loss to the grips or frame. The box and insert are in excellent plus condition
with some missing graphics, and still has the un-punched target on the back as

STALLION 45 MIB - UNFIRED |

This is the Nichols STALLION 45. It is
in Mint-In-Box unfired condition. It is commonly referred to as the
chrome-plated 3rd variation with the plain non-notched cylinder, The 1st
variation is nickel-plated with a NOTCHED cylinder that comes in a two-piece
box. The 2nd variation is also nickel-plated, that comes in the one-piece box.
It is one of the nicest and most complete of this variation that I have seen in
many years. The STALLION 45 is referred to as the GRANDFATHER of all cap guns.
It was the "Toy Of The Year" at the World Toy Fair in 1950 in New York City. It
is a high-quality cap gun which has the same size and feel as the real Colt
SINGLE ACTION ARMY revolver. This was an awesome cap gun for any child during
the late 1950's and early 1960's and if you were lucky enough to own one you
were the King of the Neighborhood.
It comes
complete with all six (6) original two-piece bullets and original brochure,
outlining the directions, care, and service policy for the STALLION 45. Lewis
Nichols, one of the two brothers who were the owners, personally handled all of
the service.
The
translucent white grips are beautiful, flawless, and mint in condition. It
functions as it should with a strong snap to the hammer and rotates the
cylinder with each pull of the trigger. There are no chips, cracks, breaks, or
repairs to the grips or frame of the cap gun. Remember, these vintage cap guns
should never be fired without the two-piece bullets in the cylinder, otherwise
you run the risk of cracking or breaking the frame.
The box is
the 1st variation one-piece box. It is very solid with great graphics and
colors and has no rips, splits, or missing tabs and has been shrink wrapped for

the World. This one comes in the black painted finish and is a WHOOPING 13-1/2
inches long. It is in Excellent Plus/Near Mint very lightly fired condition
with some very minor play and storage wear to the finish as seen in the
pictures. It functions as it should with a strong snap to the hammer and stays
