I don't think anybody does better close-ups than
Doug. I asked him what his secrets were and he said he had none. Modest. He
said he doesn't even use a tripod! Just snaps with his old Sony. Much closer
and we would be into quantum mechanics. The finish is a little smoother than we are actually seeing, but we are so close and the focus is so strong that it seems rougher than it is. Notice the cherry red grips and the characteristic Circle "K." Photo thanks to Doug Hamilton |
