And here's the left side of this magnificent Cap Gun. Notice
that the cylinder swings out to the left. This Cap Gun has real screws holding
it together like most of the better Nichols guns. No doubt the reason that many
manufacturers only riveted them together is to save on production costs. But
that isn't very considerate to the young buckaroos, is it? I used to take mine
apart all of the time and like a U.S. Marine, I could take it apart and
reassemble it in the dark in less than 60 seconds. Good training!
