Here's a nice close-up of the cylinder pulled
down so that you can see where the caps loaded. Of course you will notice that
the Cowboy didn't have bullets. It's essentially impossible to have roll caps
and bullets at the same time and expect the smoke to come out of the end of the
barrel. If you're using round caps like the Nichols Stallion 45, then you
aren't using roll caps. If you're using roll caps, then the smoke hits the
bullet. Maybe both? But the problem is still that this gun is supposed to look
like a standard Colt 45 Peacemaker, so if you're going to do that, then you
just have to make the cylinder go all of the way back. |
