A great stand-off shot showing the large ring for
quick cocking. While the ring is true to the old days, I don't believe there
was ever a firing ramp in the trigger area. Too dangerous. I saw a John Wayne
movie where he used a rifle just like this sans the quick fire trigger ramp. On
