This is a great show of the entire cylinder area and the name of
the Cap Gun. And of course, that bullet. Remington! Notice that shiny ring about 2/3rds of the way back from the front of the cylinder. It is caused by rubbing from a little spring in the frame. This is one of the flaws of these 2 guns from Hubley: The Colt and the Texan 45's. If the pivot where the barrel swings down were really strong, then this might be one of the greatest Cap Guns of all time! Might still be! Photo thanks to Don Raker |
