Here we see the right side of the gun and can see
the loading gate. It is a very heavy version of a loading gate and appears to
be very strong. This is a die-cast gun.![]() Folks, this Cap Gun was made as a counter to the Nichols Stallion 38 and is VERY similar!!! The loading gate is a little more substantial and the barrel is a little longer, but the similarities are overwhelming. But, it was a common practice to copy a successful gun and the Nichols Stallion 38 actually sold more copies than the Stallion 45. It didn't work; the Stallion 38 still sold more copies than this Cap Gun. ![]() Photo thanks to Gayle Bosko ![]() |
