Here is an EXCELLENT close-up of the star in the
ellipse grip. It's very hard to photograph anything that is whiteespecially something that is white on a very dark background, of which this Cap Gun is a golden example. However, we can still see that the star has a 3-dimensional quality to it. To me it almost looks like a Star of David with beads at the ends. Maybe there was a hidden agenda/meaning here?
