This is a great close-up shot of the receiver area. As you
can clearly see, it is a Shootin' Shell variety. Mattel made both kinds. I
think it was a response to Nichols making those 3-piece bullets. Notice that
this rifle has a flip-up lever that will make it fire over and over again, just
by cocking itjust like The Rifleman. In a real rifle that would be so
dangerous that nobody would use it! And you surely couldn't hit the
target.
