Here is a rather wonderful view of the cylinder
of the Pasadena Stallion 45 and its loading gate. My advice is that if you have a Stallion 45, avoid opening the gate any more than you have to, as it is a friction closure and you want it to always snap shut. You can also see the center of the cylinder with the pegs sticking out. A small rod pushes them from the left (up) every time you pull the trigger. Many thanks to Paul M. Bouder for this photo. |
