The left grip. The finish on this gun, in the
area around the rearing horse on the frame, is very "pebbled." It probably has
some technical name like "beaded" or "sandblasted" but it just looks kind of
"grainy" to me. Though sometimes I increase the focus to a high point to bring
out some of the detail, this is not one of those times. It's hard to tell whether or not the smoothness on the rearing horse is because it was made that way or whether it has been rubbed by some young buckaroo's hands. I think it was made that way. Photo thanks to Doug Hamilton |
