Here we can see the rather dull finish of the
gold. I have a Stallion G-45 and though it is from around 1958, the gold is
quite shiny, so I know how it should look. I think it also would have improved
the looks if they had chrome plated the cylinder instead of making it golden.
Like the Kilgore Long Toms. Chuck Quinn says that the employees of Kilgore went
to a lot of trouble hand polishing those Cap Guns just out of company
