Here's a good shot of the innards of the gun.
Most guns that I have seen have a more substantial backing behind the post
where the roll of caps belongs, but this one is just a post sticking up with a
little metal around it. There is a little corrosion around the hammer area, so this gun has probably been fired. The caps have a mysterious way of quickly degrading the plating. And your hearing too! But HOW I LOVED IT!!! Photo thanks to Roy Steunenberg |
