It is known as the DAISY KID and was produced by Nichols for the Daisy Corporation and is an exact copy of the Nichols STALLION 38 in size and appearance. The difference between the Nichols STALLION 38 and all of the other variations of Daisy cap guns is that it has a unique single-action only design allowing the young Cowboy to TWIRL the cap gun. This design has the trigger set back farther in the trigger guard allowing more room for your trigger finger to TWIRL the cap gun. As far as I know it came only in the blue gunmetal painted finish. It has been handled very carefully over the years and is in MINT UNFIRED condition and comes with six (6) ORIGINAL UNFIRED two-piece brass & lead alloy toy bullets. Co. of Brooklyn, NY - MINT UNFIRED This is the very rare, Gold-Plated BAT MASTERSON Cap Gun Made in England by Lone Star for Carnell Mfg. Co. of Brooklyn, NY. It is in MINT UNFIRED condition. It comes with full wrap-around simulated Stag Grips much like the gun used in the TV Series BAT MASTERSON starring Gene Barry. The very popular TV Series ran for two years from 1959 to 1961. The gun was made in England by Lone Star for The Carnell Mfg. Company which marketed and put these guns in their CARNELL ROUND-UP Holster Sets. These cap guns are close copies of the 9-1/2-inch Leslie-Henry cap guns. The early cap guns from Lone Star were nickel plated. Later guns were chrome plated and then flash chrome plated. This is one of five variations of cap guns produced by Lone Star. The variations are marked BAT MASTERSON, MAVERICK, GRAY GHOST, BUNT-LINE, or COWPOKE. The GRAY GHOST marked cap guns were only produced with nickel plating and came with the gray plastic grips. The BAT MASTERSON, MAVERICK, BUNT-LINE, & the COWPOKE came with nickel or chrome finishes. The GRAY GHOST and the BAT MASTERSON are the hardest to find of all the variations. This is only the third Gold-Plated BAT MASTERSON of this 9-1/2-inch variation that i have seen.
