Co. of Brooklyn; NY - NEAR MINT UNFIRED This is the very rare, chrome-plated BAT MASTERSON Cap Gun Made in England by Lone Star for Carnell Mfg. Co. of Brooklyn, NY. It is in NEAR MINT UNFIRED condition. It comes with full wrap-around simulated Stag Grips much like the gun he used in the TV Series BAT MASTERSON starring Gene Barry. The very popular TV Series ran for two years from 1959 to 1961. The gun was made in England by Lone Star for The Carnell Mfg. Company which marketed and put these guns in their CARNELL ROUND-UP Holster Sets. These cap guns are close copies of the 9-1/2-inch Leslie-Henry cap guns. The early cap guns from Lone Star were nickel plated. Later guns were chrome plated and then flash chrome plated. This is one of five variations of cap guns produced by Lone Star. The variations are marked BAT MASTERSON, MAVERICK, GRAY GHOST, BUNT-LINE, or COWPOKE. The GRAY GHOST marked cap guns were only produced with nickel plating and came with the gray plastic grips. The BAT MASTERSON, MAVERICK, BUNT-LINE, & the COWPOKE came with nickel or chrome finishes. The GRAY GHOST and the BAT MASTERSON are the hardest to find of all the variations. All of the above-mentioned cap guns were made EXCLUSIVLY for Carnell. This cap gun is guaranteed to be all original and comes with a BAT MASTERSON marked Carnell Holster. Rare CHEYENNE Cap Gun w/original box made in England by Lone Star MINT UNFIRED HTF This is the CHEYENNE Cap Gun made in England by Lone Star. Lone Star and B.C.M. were two of the largest makers of quality toys outside of the United States. They produced many of the collectable cap guns that are to this day sought after by cap gun collectors from around the World. The English Toy Makers copied many of the designs of American Toy Gun Makers. This one is a very similar copy of the TEXAN 38 produced by Hubley. It is MINT UNFIRED and functions as it should with a strong snap to the hammer and rotates the cylinder with each pull of the trigger or hammer. It comes complete with the original box, which is in fair condition, missing one end flap and six (6) toy bullets for the rotating cylinder. MINT Unfired - RARE and HTF This is the VERY RARE and elusive SIXGUN made in England by The B.C.M. Company. B.C.M. made many high-quality toys and cap guns ever produced. This one is in my opinion the best of all of the cap guns B.C.M. ever produced. They made several variations of the SIXGUN, and all are highly sought after by collectors from around the World. The SIXGUN is very similar in size and looks as the COWBOY cap gun made by Hubley in fact, many of the internal parts are interchangeable. This one is the fully engraved, Blue-Painted variation in MINT Unfired condition as seen in the photos. It is a roll cap shooting repeater that has a revolving cylinder that accepts two-tone metal bullets for realism. The bullets are RARE and six (6) original bullets come with this cap gun. The grips are embossed with the bust of an American Indian Warrior with one large red jewel at the top and six small red jewels on bottom of each grip panel. These grips are absolutely the most beautiful grips of any cap gun ever. The cap gun functions as it should, rotating the cylinder with each pull of the trigger. There are absolutely no chips, cracks, breaks, missing jewels, or repairs to the grips or frame of the cap gun. The finish on this cap gun is FLAWLESS with no need to have to upgrade.
