This is the SUPER RARE Nichols Stallion
45 & Dyna-Mite Derringer Combo Set. These boxed sets were produced in very
limited quantities. To give a perspective on how rare this set is, I have
personally documented over one hundred of the G-45 Nichols Stallion 45's in the
GOLD finish. I have only been able to document eight(8) of the Stallion 45
& Dyna-Mite Derringer Combo sets. Very few collectors are able to boast
that they have this set variation in their collection. The guns are in near
mint condition and function as they should. The Stallion 45 rotates the
cylinder with each pull of the trigger or hammer. The grips are free of any
cracks, chips or scratches. The box is in excellent condition and has had the
very fragile hinge replaced. The "45 & Dyna-Mite in Clip" sticker is in
excellent plus condition showing very little shelf or storage wear. The insert
is solid but has had the splits re-enforced. If you collect Nichols cap guns
you will want to add this set to your collection. It will be a long time before

This is the Hard-To-Find "Stallion .45
MK II" by Nichols/Kusan. It is the variation with the "flash" chrome finish
with the cylinder that accepts bullets and the white translucent grips and
Circle "N" logo molded into each grip panel. It is in excellent plus condition
with some small amounts of finish loss on the right side of the cap gun as seen
in the pictures and functions as it should rotating the cylinder properly with
each pull of the trigger or hammer. There are no chips, cracks, breaks, or
repairs to the grips or frame of the cap gun. The holster set is original with
this variation cap gun and looks to have never been played with. It is made of
a rubber/vinyl material similar to the Dura-Hyde holsters made by Mattel. This
holster was made for Nichols/Kusan by Marx. This is a must have for any Nichols

| Nichols "Fury 500"

This is the Nichols "Fury 500" with
Original Box. It is battery operated and fires a 500 shot roll of caps. It is
the only non-western rifle in the Nichols line of cap rifles. It has a "Space"
theme incorporated in the engraving with Planets and the Solar System embossed
on the side plates of the cap rifle. The front sight is a Rocket Ship. It is in
excellent plus condition and one of the nicest Fury 500's I have seen in many
years. It still has the side cover for the battery compartment which is missing
on alot of the surviving Fury 500's. This is a large frame cap gun that
measures 27-1/2 inches in length and uses Nichols "Fury 500" roll caps. There
are no chips, cracks, breaks, or repairs to the grips, stock, or frame of the
cap gun. The box is complete with no damage or split corners. It has a contest
entry form printed on the bottom insert to win a trip to Disneyland dated Jan.

Nichols "Stallion 45 MK II" MIB
This is the Nichols "Stallion 45 MK II" MIB. It is commonly
known as the "Grandfather" of all cap guns. It is a high quality triple chrome
plated cap gun. It is the same size as, and patterned after the real Colt
"Single Action Army" revolver. This was an awesome cap gun for any child during
the late 1950's and early 1960's and if you were lucky enough to own one you
were the King of the neighborhood. It comes complete with the extra black
simulated "stag" grips and two-piece bullets with clip. The translucent white
grips are beautiful, flawless, and mint in condition. The translucent white
grips always look like there is a crack along the side and bottom but is just
the "flow" line of the plastic as it flows into the mold. It functions as it
should with a strong snap to the hammer and rotates the cylinder with each pull
of the trigger. There are no chips, cracks, breaks or repairs to the grips or
frame of the cap gun. Remember, these vintage cap guns should never be fired
without the two-piece bullets in the cylinder, otherwise you run the risk of
cracking or breaking the frame. The box is very solid with no split corners,
but the fragile "hinge" that originally attached the box top to the box bottom

Rare W.J. Murphy Co. "Notch-It 45" Double Holster Set/Nichols
Stallion 45's Blue Finish with Wood Grips
This is the super rare "Notch-It" 45 double holster set
complete with two Nichols Stallion 45's in the rare blue finish with wood
grips. In the early 1960's the W.J. Murphy Company of Asheville, NC contracted
with Nichols Industries to supply them with several models of un-finished cap
guns which included the Colt Special, Stallion 22, Stallion 32, Stallion 38,
Top Hand-250, Stallion 45, and the ULTRA RARE Stallion 44 and Stallion 38 MK
II.
The
W.J. Murphy Co. created a series of "Notch-It" holster sets for these cap guns
and would then finish the cap guns, box them in single and double holster sets
and market them as "Authentic Western Style" Holster Sets under the name "W.J.
Murphy Co."
They were almost always completed with a painted blue finish and
equipped with plain wood grips. However, I have seen some specimens with
plastic grips. All of the holster sets came with a small pocket knife attached
to the holster with a key chain. The knife was there to "notch" the grips for
recording the winning "gunfights" of the young cowboy that was lucky enough to
own such an awesome set.
The guns are the Nichols Stallion 45's MK-II's and
are in excellent plus condition. They function as they should, rotating the
cylinders with each pull of the triggers or hammers and come complete with all
twelve (12) original Nichols two-piece bullets.
The holsters are
authentic western style in plain black heavy leather with holster pocket straps
that read "Notch-It 45" and a small stallion horsehead concho on each holster
pocket. It is also in excellent condition and comes complete with all twelve
(12) chrome plated plastic bullets for the bullet loops.
Shortly after
Mr. Murphy launched his line of cap gun and holster sets he passed away at an
early age and most all of the remaining equipment and inventory was sold as
there was no one with the knowledge to continue the business. All W.J. Murphy
Co. finished cap guns and "Notch-It" holster sets are extremely scarce and
Hard To Find. They are some of the most desired and sought after cap
guns and holster sets by all collectors and especially by advanced Nichols
Collectors from all parts of the world.

addition to any collection.
